One-stop breast clinic

Mr El Gammal sees patients at his one-stop breast clinic. If you have any symptoms relating to your breasts, and want to be seen quickly, the breast clinic could be right for you

In the majority of cases, symptoms in your breasts are nothing to worry about. However, it is important to get checked as quickly as possible.  We understand that this is a worrying time, and Mr El Gammal will ensure your experience is as reassuring and caring as can be.

Symptoms may include:

  • Painless lumps in any part of your breast, nipple or armpit
  • Change in size or shape of your breast
  • Dimpling on your breast
  • Rash around your nipple
  • Bloody discharge from your nipple
  • Inverted nipple

At your appointment, Mr El Gammal will talk through your symptoms and examine your breasts. Mr El Gammal is supported by specialist breast care nurses and expert radiographers and radiologists who will guide you through any scans and tests you may need as part of your visit.

Usually, you will need a mammogram to diagnose the cause of your symptoms. You might also need a breast ultrasound, or a biopsy. If you do need a biopsy, results are usually available within 48 hours.
