What implants will be used?
Breast enlargement almost always involves inserting implants underneath your breast tissue. Implants are usually made of silicon gel. There are different solutions for size, shape and material and Mr El Gammal will take you through all of the options to ensure you get the right implants for you.
Are breast implants safe?
Mr El Gammal only uses implants that have been properly tested and have proven to be safe over time.
How long does it take and will I feel pain?
Breast enlargement surgery usually takes around 60 minutes. You’ll be under general anaesthetic for the procedure so you won’t feel any pain. You’ll also receive local anaesthetic injections to help reduce pain after you wake up. There may be some discomfort and bruising for a few days following your procedure, but you should be able to return to work and normal daily activities within a week to two weeks. How long do I need to stay in hospital for?
Most patients usually require no overnight stay and you will be able to go home on the same day of your surgery. Mr El Gammal will discuss this with you during your consultations
How much does it cost?
This will vary depending on which hospital you choose to have your surgery, but is usually between £8,000 – £10,000. Certain implant choices can increase this cost. Mr El Gammal works closely with the hospital payment teams and will ensure you have all options made available to you including monthly payment options.
